My wife Noemi and I had a chance to go to this event (http://www.dupageeweek.iit.edu/) on Feb. 20th, 2010. I have been meaning to write about our experience, but other tasks have kept me away. As they say, better late than never.

I learned Spanish 30 years ago. 2008, I finally used my Spanish! I have been keeping it stored in my brain just in case. I don't remember everything but I know enough to be friendly and to ask for help when I am in trouble.

I befriended 3 Hispanic amigos at my job. I let them know if I hear," Ayuada me por favor!" I come running.

I had a handsome Hispanic male co-worker and friend had the cutest giggle. He also had an irresistable smile. He also was a very hard worker, which caught my eye even more. He always gave me the biggest smile, words of encouragement and some flirting. He was my fuel for the night.
